Out Connections: Building New Links Across Belfast

We are excited to share that The Mens Group is participating in Out Connections, a Peace Plus supported community engagement programme that aims to strengthen links across Belfast's LGBTQIA+ sector. The Rainbow Project recently shared an overview of the launch, which you can read here.

The programme brings community groups together to listen, learn, and collaborate on practical ways to improve visibility, connection, and support across neighbourhoods. We are focused on making sure men who identify as gay, bi, and trans - and our allies - have welcoming, consistent spaces to connect.

Our role in Out Connections is rooted in what we already do: creating social events, peer support, and a calm, friendly space to meet new people. You can learn more about who we are on our About page.

Over the coming months we will be working alongside partner organisations to share opportunities, invite new members into our group, and make it easier for people to find support that feels right for them.

Out Connections is about opening doors and making sure no one feels they have to navigate life alone. We are proud to play our part in building stronger, kinder connections across the city.
