Advertising preferences
Your choice. You can use the whole site without agreeing to advertising.
What allowing advertising means
We load Google AdSense on eligible public pages only after you allow it. Google receives information such as your IP address, browser information and the page address. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver, personalise and measure advertisements, subject to the detailed choices in Google's consent message.
Choosing “Allow advertising” lets us contact Google to load its advertising and consent services. You may then be asked to choose purposes and partners in Google's message. Your permission here does not replace those choices or guarantee that an ad will be shown.
Account, administration and private event content remain free of advertising scripts. We do not pass your account identifiers, contact details or RSVP details to the advertising service.
Remembering and changing your choice
For visitors, we use an essential signed preference cookie in this browser. For members, we store your choice, the date and the version of this notice against your account, including a history of changes. We ask again after six months or when this notice changes. A visitor's choice is not automatically copied into an account when they sign in. Your account choice does not become a visitor choice when you log out; we ask separately when you browse signed out.
Choose “No thanks” or withdraw permission to prevent further Google advertising scripts from loading on subsequent pages. Withdrawal does not undo information already sent, or remove cookies held on Google's domains; you can remove those in your browser settings. The “Advertising privacy choices” control on an eligible page also opens Google's detailed settings when available.
Read our privacy policy and how Google uses information from partner sites.
